Playmateshows looks all right at first glance. You have to register (put a username and password) then they send you an email link so that you can use the site.

– my ideal date! The first girl I looked at was blonde4u but clicking on her took me to her profile page – photos, likes, dislikes etc. Hmm, looks like there is no free chat option on playmateshows. That is a shame. I like the free chat so you can get an idea of what the girl is like. I mean, she might look raunchy in her photos but that doesn’t guarantee a red hot, live show, does it? Also, when I clicked on “view only online girls” there were only 3!!! Not the 478 you first assume there are. When I clicked on “lesbian – online only”… blonde4u came back up!

How much is it?
On the first page it says the standard prices (great – I hate sites that try to hide this!!) A nude chat is $1.48 a minute and a private show is $1.96 a minute. You can also get cam to cam (two way live chat) if you want it. Those prices are very cheap. big grin

Another cheap site (if you are watching the pennies!) is CamClub – lots of sexy girls on there too who want to show themselves off to you! unibrow

If you want to add credits to your playmateshows account, you can pay by phone, anonymously or credit card. If you pay by phone, you are charged per minute at the above rates. Else, you can decide how much you want to spend at once on your credit card and that is converted into credits.

What else is there?
You can “rent videos” as they call it on there. For a few dollars you can watch a steamy movie that your favourite cam girl has made herself. Or you can record your own shows. You can keep your favourite ones in a “favourites” folder and access them whenever you want.

There is a “models schedule” which would be better if more than a few models had bothered to fill it out! retard

Overall
I quite like playmateshows but am not mad about it. Some of the girls look like they would give you a really sexy show and love to show you everything they have got. But without the free chat option (even limited to 10 minutes like on camclub) it is hard to tell what a girl is like until you have spent money. The site is well maintained and easy to navigate and I assume the video streaming would be good on here too.

Girls: (4 out of 5) some pretty, some very pretty – but not as many girls as I’d first thought
Technical: (3 out of 5) seems OK, a few minor things could be improved
Price: (4 out of 5) good prices!!
Overall: (4 out of 5) the site is easy to use but I wish there was free chat (even limited) on here!

I didn't like this site. It seemed quite misleading. I mean, for one thing, on the front page it says "spend $100 and get $50 free" and then it says that expired in April (3 months ago). Also, it looks like there are thousands of girls online but when I went on, there were only 12 in the "girls" section!!!!!!! OK, so 12 should be enough but why not just say how many are on, rather than trying to hide it? angry

And it says you can chat for free with the girls but I couldn't even find one offering that!!!

Give me a more straightforward web cam site like WildOrchidz or TriCams anyday.

You're missing the whole point!! It isn't all about how clear information is - it is more about what is in the package! And once you try PlaymateShows properly you will know that. It is great value for money and the girls are outrageous in private!!! You can't say that just because there isn't a free chat option, they might be crap in private. Look at Peekshows for instance - you can chat for free but the girls aren't allowed to do anything or show anything in free chat so you STILL don't know what a private is like until you do it. And if you don't like the girl... leave the show and try another!

I seem to be the only person in this thread who likes playmateshows but I also seem to be the only one who has ACTUALLY TRIED A PRIVATE SHOW so.... what are you waiting for, huh? For those prices, you can't go wrong.

Thanks for your replies folks, but I just want to point out I was reviewing the site as a whole. The whole thing about free chats is just one factor of a cam site. I also look at how the site looks, if it is easy to navigate and what the girls are like - looks, languages and how many there are online.

I also agree that just because there isn't a free chat option here doesn't mean that is a black mark against the site. I suppose in a way it just makes the private show more exciting because that will be the first time you've seen the girl. If free chat is a must, then do try Peekshows or CamCrush. Some of the biggest sites like CamContacts don't do free shows but there are thousands of girls, some of whom only charge $0.79 a minute so you can spend 20 seconds in there, deciding if you like her, for a few cents!
